CRM Report: Saks Fifth Avenue Adds New CRM ‘Aspect’

San Jose, California-based Aspect Communications (Nasdaq: ASPT) said Monday that upscale retailer Saks Fifth Avenue (NYSE: SKS) has selected its CRM portal for call centers in Mississippi, Maryland and Illinois.

Aspect said Saks utilized its system recently in a Jackson, Mississippi call center and reduced the average speed of answer from 45 seconds to 8 seconds, added 16 percent more customer contacts and saved $350,000 in payroll annually.

Aspect has employed its call center CRM systems in over 7,000 call centers in its 14-year history. Saks operates 350 retail stores under a variety of marquee names.
