Rare Medium (Nasdaq: RRRR) gained 1 1/2 to close at 21 1/2 Thursday after the company announced an e-commerce alliance with Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT).
The companies will offer business-to-business and business-to-consumer programs, collaborating on development, marketing, training, sales and operations.
Rare Medium’s e-commerce program allows businesses to establish their own trading networks, connecting distributors, manufacturers and suppliers within eight to twelve weeks. The program runs on Microsoft Windows DNA 2000.
