FreeShop.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSHP) rose 7/8 to 13 7/8 Tuesday after the company said it expects first-quarter results to exceed analysts’ expectations.
The company said revenue for the quarter will be about $5.1 million, and results from operations will be “significantly ahead” of estimates. Results will be reported after the close of trading on April 19th.
“We continue to be pleased with our momentum on all fronts, as reflected in our strong revenue growth and increasing consumer and client bases,” said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Tim Choate. “In addition to consumer, client, and revenue growth, we signed multiple marketing agreements during the quarter with key clients, and formed new strategic relationships with companies such as iVillage, Digital Impact, Cybergold and MapQuest.”
