Stock Watch: Jetform Gains on New Wireless Technology

Jetform Corp. (Nasdaq: FORM) rose 7/8 to 5 1/2 Thursday after the e-business software company introduced new technology that will allow users to access electronic business forms over wireless devices.

The Ottawa, Ontario-based company said the first version of the new technology will be included in its ReachForm product, which supports Wireless Markup Language (WML) and Wireless Application Protocol (WAP).

“Cellular phones are just another delivery mechanism for an increasingly mobile workforce,” said Dave Welch, vice president and general manager of the e-forms business group at JetForm. “JetForm’s wireless technology will help our customers integrate cellular phones and other mobile devices into their e-business models.”
