InfoSpace Inc. (Nasdaq: INSP) rose 3 1/4 to 36 5/8 Wednesday after the e-business software company said Alltel will use its products in a new wireless Internet service.
Alltel’s “Web-Unwired” is available in 10 markets, including Little Rock, Arkansas; Cleveland and Akron, Ohio; and Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona. It will be rolled out to all the company’s digital markets by the end of the year.
InfoSpace, based in Bellevue, Washington, provides e-commerce, information and communication services to wireless devices, merchants and Web sites.
