Stock Watch: Homestore.com Rises on AOL Deal

Homestore.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: HOMS) rose 4 7/8 to 23 1/8 Monday following reports that the company signed a five-year agreement to provide real-estate listings on America Online (Nasdaq: AOL).

The agreement also gives AOL 3.9 million Homestore.com shares and $20 million in cash. The Thousand Oaks, California-based Homestore will be the exclusive national provider of professional home and moving services for America Online.

AOL was up 3/8 at 60 3/8.
