Stock Watch: Hewlett-Packard Deal Boosts E.piphany

E.piphany, Inc. (Nasdaq: EPNY) was up 2 1/16 to 79 3/8 Thursday after the company said computer maker Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE: HWP) bought an “enterprise-wide” license of its software system.

Hewlett-Packard said it will use E.piphany software to collect and analyze information about its commercial customers and partners.

“E.piphany continues to partner with technology leaders such as Hewlett-Packard to help revolutionize the way corporations interact with their customers, whether business-to-business or business-to-consumer,” said Roger Siboni, president and chief executive of the San Mateo, California-based E.piphany.
