GoAmerica, Inc. (Nasdaq: GOAM) rose 2 15/16 to 17 11/16 Tuesday after announcing a pair of alliances with major companies.
The Internet service provider is teaming with EDS to provide wireless services to small and medium-sized businesses. The companies said they signed a letter of intent, “subject to numerous conditions,” to resell each other’s services, create a joint marketing program and share planning and product strategies.
GoAmerica also said Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE: HWP) agreed to use its Go.Web Wireless Internet access service with its notebook computers.
