Audible, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADBL) tacked on 13/16 to close at 4 5/8 Wednesday, after the Internet audio provider announced an e-book alliance with Franklin Electronic Publishers.
Franklin, which publishes handheld electronic books, will make its next generation of multimedia books available for playback via Audible’s Web site. Franklin e-book users will be able to download audio on demand or through subscriptions.
