Stock Watch: E.piphany Jumps on Sun Alliance

E.piphany (Nasdaq: EPNY) rose 11 1/16 to close at 64 5/16 Wednesday after the e-commerce software maker announced a multimillion-dollar alliance with Sun Microsystems (Nasdaq: SUNW).

The companies said they will work together to produce customer relationship management software. Customers "can look forward to rapid, immediate and reliable deployments that will help ensure early success and return on investment," they said.

E.piphany also said it will use Sun's worldwide sales and marketing network to promote its software.
