Stock Watch: Hollywood.com Rises on Expanded International Offerings

Hollywood.com (Nasdaq: HOLL) rose 2 1/4 Monday to 10 after the Boca Raton, Florida-based online entertainment company issued a pair of announcements touting expanded international services.

The company said its Broadway.com division will now offer ticket and show information about plays in London's West End theater district. Results from Broadway.com, launched May 1, have "definitely exceeded our initial expectations," said Chief Executive Officer Mitchell Rubenstein. Hollywood.com plans to expand its offerings to include online ticketing, he said.

Separately, the company said it launched Spanish-language versions of its sites in Argentina and Mexico.
