Red Hat, Agilysys Seal Open Source Services Deal

Agilysys and Red Hat have signed an agreement that authorizes Agilysys Enterprise Solutions Group as a Red Hat Advanced Business Partner. The deal enables the companies to collaborate in the development and delivery of open source solutions to Agilysys customers.

Agilysys and Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) announced Thursday that they have signed an enterprise reseller agreement to deliver Red Hat open source solutions to Agilysys customers.

The agreement authorizes Agilysys Enterprise Solutions Group (ESG) as a Red Hat Advanced Business Partner, and will enable the two organizations to collaborate in the development and delivery of open source solutions.

"Agilysys has a proven track record in the design and implementation of Linux solutions."

Agilysys has deep relationships with a wide variety of leading IT suppliers across a diverse group of industries, said Ed Boyajian, vice president of strategic alliances, Red Hat.
