Snowball.com (Nasdaq: SNOW) rose 4 5/16 in its first day of trading Tuesday, closing at 15 5/16. The San Francisco, California-based company offers Web sites aimed at teenagers and young adults, which it calls "Generation i."

Snowball's sites -- aimed at 13 to 30-year-olds -- include ChickClick.com, IGN.com, InsideGuide.com and PowerStudents.com. The company raised $68.8 million through the sale of 6.25 million shares.
