Netcentives, Inc. (Nasdaq: NCNT) rose 1 15/16 to 10 15/16 Tuesday, following reports of an upgrade to strong buy from buy at Thomas Weisel Partners.
Netcentives, a San Francisco, California-based provider of technology and services for loyalty and direct-marketing programs, said it is providing support for a venture announced Monday by America Online and American Airlines.
Netcentives said it has a multi-year agreement with AOL to provide infrastructure software for the program, which teams the American Airlines frequent flier program with AOL.
