Stock Watch: China Contracts Boost Portal Software

Portal Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRSF) climbed 5 7/8 to 54 7/16 Monday after the company announced it landed three large Chinese customers.

The Cupertino, California-based Portal said it will provide customer management and billing services to China Railway Communications, Ji Tong Communications Co. and Xinhua News Agency.

Financial terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
