Stock Watch: GoTo.com Gains on Disney Settlement

GoTo.com was up 2 7/16 at 17 9/16 in early trading Friday, following news that the company will get $21.5 million from the Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS) to settle a long-running trademark dispute.

Disney agreed to change its Go Network logo, which GoTo.com said infringed on its trademarked name, as well as a recently-adopted replacement logo. GoTo.com sued Disney last February over the use of the name. Disney also agreed to drop a countersuit filed in response to the claim.

The Pasadena, California-based GoTo.com provides e-commerce services to Web sites.
