Stock Watch: PurchasePro Gains on Office Depot Alliance

PurchasePro.com (Nasdaq: PPRO) was up 7 7/8 to 138 5/8 in morning trading today after the company announced an agreement with Office Depot (NYSE: ODP) to place PurchasePro's browser-based business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce products in 450 Office Depot stores.

Office Depot will install store kiosks that feature an interactive demonstration of PurchasePro's products, giving PurchasePro access to what company Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Charles E. Johnson, Jr. described as "Office Depot's hundreds of thousands of online businesses that purchase hundreds of millions of dollars in office supplies."
