Shares of e-business solutions company i2 Technologies (Nasdaq: ITWO) climbed more than six percent on Monday, gaining 3 to 51-15/16 after the company reported third-quarter earnings of 12 cents per share, compared to the analysts' estimate of 10 cents. The company had revenues of $146.3 million in the third quarter, up from the $95.4 million reported in the same quarter last year.
Analysts were impressed. BancBoston Robertson Stephens upgraded i2 stock from long-term attractive to buy, while Prudential raised its rating on the stock from hold to accumulate.
