SAP Gets New Stairway to the Cloud With Ariba Buy May 23, 2012 
SAP has revealed plans to acquire Ariba, an enterprise e-commerce network, for US$4.3 billion as part of the German company's expansion into cloud computing. SAP will purchase Ariba for $45 per share -- about 20 percent more than its market price. Ariba's board approved the purchase unanimously. The sale is expected to be completed during the third calendar quarter of 2012, dependent on Ariba shareholder approval.

New MacBook, New Cloud, New Leaf May 16, 2012 
Apple computer users might soon have a thinner, lighter version of the MacBook, according to numerous reports. The new design will apparently still bear the "MacBook Pro" name but will more closely resemble an Ultrabook -- thin, light and affordable PC laptops. Google Drive Kicks Into Gear April 24, 2012 
Google on Tuesday unveiled Google Drive, its long-anticipated storage locker in the cloud. The service incorporates Google Docs and lets users upload, access and share their files, including videos, photos and PDFs. Google Drive works on Macs and PCs, and an Android app is available. An iOS app is in the works.
