See Full Story NASA scientists said it might be possible to create global warming on Mars, which would melt the polar ice caps and create conditions suitable for life. Scientists at the agency's Ames Research Center said releasing fluorine-based synthetic greenhouse gases into the Martian atmosphere could raise the planet's temperature enough to melt the ice caps. In fact, they said, introducing global warming on the red planet could be the best way to turn its frozen landscape into a habitable world in the future.
