See Full StoryThere has been no shortage of software designed to transfer catalogs to the Web. But as
e-commerce has matured, the market has started to evolve and leaders have begun to
emerge. This process has been accelerated by the collapse of many software firms in the
post-boom era. One major benefactor of the trend has been IBM. "Companies are taking a
long-term view now and favoring those vendors with proven track records," Meta Group
analyst Michael Barnes told the E-Commerce Times.

no offence but is this an article or an advert for IBM? I was under the impression that companies such as Intershop might also have something to offer in this space? Perhaps more in-depth analysis of the WAY the market has matured rather than just stating this as a fact would have improved this article, too?

Intershop, are they still in business?

I believe so. This was a constructive comment not a plug for a particular company's products. impartiality would be nice - 'tis all

Ok, I thought that I had seen something about them going out of business.
