According to published reports, President George W. Bush on Wednesday signed into law a
bill that renews the ban on key taxes related to the Internet and e-commerce. Bush
reportedly said that the legislation would promote growth of the Internet, and that
"holiday shoppers will not be burdened by new taxes on their online purchases."

I knew I voted for that guy for a reason! You KNOW Gore would have jumped all over the chance to tax "his" little invention. Mr. Bush, you ROCK.

Excellent move by Pres Bush,

I would stop selling on the internet if they started taxing. I would also stop buying on the internet

Most, if not all the purchases I make on the web include a charge for state sales taxes. Why should I have to pay more...? We don't need more taxes. Most states are inefficient in their use of the funds that they already receive. Why give them more? I am against any new taxes. I'm willing to contine to pay sales tax but I will not pay more. I think the states need to check with their constituents first before trying to implement any new taxes. I also believe that states need to become much more efficient in the use of the funds they already have at their disposal.

No "E" tax! YES! I hope the powers think about all the suppliers to and business-base stores of operations that pay taxes and wages in their home States that make our world go round! Let the internet be.

I am a hardcore democrat, but I will say this about Bush - extending the Tax Ban of the internet was a good decision on his part-who wants more taxes??
